"The Urban Architecture and Toshunkai Seminar" organized by Toshunkai aims to establish a "platform" to become a network base for the Urban and Architectural Studies Department at Tohoku University, while "CIAT" is planned and operated by the Tohoku University Young Alumni Center. These two events will collaborate on the "Tontiku x Dochaku" event, in which architects Otosaka and Takahashi from NoMaDoS will participate.

The theme of this event is "Tontiku x Dochaku." Starting from Sendai/Tohoku region at Tohoku University, this will be an opportunity for participants to delve into the significance of local activities "indigenous" together with interdisciplinary professionals.

Otosaka and Takahashi will participate in the second round of discussions on "The Future of Dochaku." Alongside Mr. Ryuichi Watanabe from Ney&Partners Japan, they will explore "The Future of Indigenous" from various perspectives such as architecture, civil engineering, environment, and urban planning.

Otosaka and Takahashi will give presentations at the event held at their alma mater, Tohoku University. Be sure to experience the changes and reforms happening in the local architectural field at the venue!
