【Background】
As a collaborative project with Yahoo! Japan's open collaboration space LODGE, NoMaDoS has focused on the sustainability of future cities. We have utilized an original virtual reality space as an open platform for various activities and initiatives. From conceptual planning of the project to the design of the virtual reality space, as well as activity planning and organization, we have been responsible for the entire process of planning and execution.
NoMaDoS has created a virtual reality space and conducted activities in collaboration with companies/brands that provide sustainable products and services, as well as organizations engaged in related initiatives. In the virtual reality space, we provide opportunities for participants to interact, have conversations, and engage in immersive experiences.
【Key Points】
The connection between sustainability and individuals varies from person to person. Here, we express diverse ways of sustainable development through gradient colors, a shape composed of multiple layers representing the earth, and the convergence of multiple focal points.
Suspended in the air are 3D objects themed around clothing, food, shelter,transportation, and community, which are also the five main themes of online activities. It is an open virtual reality space that can be easily experienced in a web browser without the need to install specific applications.
The objects and poles extending to the top constantly move, bringing vibrancy to the space and leaving visitors excitedly anticipating what the next change will be. This creates an exhilarating atmosphere.
